Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer visited the Izmir International Fair, which opened its doors for the 92nd time. Mayor Soyer stated there was great interest from both Izmir and outside the city in the Izmir International Fair, which was organized with the theme of “youth.”

The 92nd Izmir International Fair (IEF) attracted great attention on its first day. After the opening, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer visited the fair stands with Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar and Izmir Governor Süleyman Elban and wished the participants to have a successful fair. Stating great interest from both Izmir and outside the city in the Izmir International Fair, which was held with the theme of “youth” this year, Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer also visited the stands on Municipality Street one by one.

Şaşal Water was introduced

Turkey’s longed-for water brand Şaşal Water was also introduced at IEF. Mayor Soyer visited the stand of the municipal company Izdoga and gave information to Deputy Minister Özgür Volkan Ağar and Governor Süleyman Elban about Şaşal Water. Stating that the name of the water filled from a single source in Menderes comes from the Şaşal Village, where the source originates, Mayor Soyer said, “We re-established the Şaşal Water Factory, which has been idle since 2011. Trial fillings started at the factory. Turkey will see the Şaşal Water, which it has missed, on the shelves again after many years, with its new identity. “You also had the first taste,” he said.

The guest of honor city is located on an area of ​​2 thousand square meters

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer attended the “Mahmut Kendirci Urfa Sıra Gecesi” of Şanlıurfa, the guest of honor of the Izmir International Fair, and said “Welcome to Izmir” to the participants. Şanlıurfa, with its economic, social, cultural, and historical value, is located on an area of ​​2 thousand square meters at the September 9 Gate entrance of Kültürpark.

In the youth area specially prepared this year, there are stands of youth non-governmental organizations, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality’s youth work related units, sports clubs, and many activities such as adventure track, zipline, music and dance shows, interviews of famous athletes, street basketball are organized.
